The fonds consists of business correspondence, journals, financial statements, and receipts relating to the operation of Benjamin Liebovitz's business and dates from 1913 to 1973.

The fonds consists of papers, correspondence, and articles created or collected by Hilda McAfee between 1944 and 1980. A large portion of the fonds relates to the many horticultural associations to which Hilda and James McAfee belonged. Also included are papers relating to the Edmonton Fish and Game Association, and some framed certificates and diplomas.

The fonds consists of research materials collected or created by Gilda Rath. The fonds generally relates to three themes: excerpts from the Edmonton Bulletin 1880-1882, and the Saskatchewan Herald, 1879-1882; the story of the Lamoureux family from their origins in Quebec to their settlement in the Edmonton district; translations of correspondence from the Oblate Archives relating to members of the order and to the history of the Edmonton area. Also included is information on First Nations, Metis, steamboat transportation on the North Saskatchewan, and notes and excerpts from other sources. The research material appears to have been accumulated for a book on the history of French settlement in North America and the Canadian northwest, focusing on the Lamoureux family. A partial typescript of this work is included in the fonds. Some of the notes are transcripts from tape recordings, but the original tapes are not present.

The fonds consists of administrative and financial records of the Alberta Pensioners' Society, including corespondence, scrapbooks of minutes, news clippings, legislative materials from various jurisdictions and other publications. There are also two portraits of Chief Justice William R. Hawson.

The collection consists of a bond from Benjamin Walter Smith to George Perry, July 12, 1851, a certificate of recommendation for homestead patent for William Stewart, August 8, 1903 with covering letter. Donated with the collection were postcards and poetry by several authors.

The fonds consists of business licenses issued to William Lyle by the City of Edmonton, 1926-1939.
