<p>The fonds consists of production files, raw footage, and master tapes related to the production of Pretty Ladies, Fast Horses. The textual records include contracts, release forms, correspondence, scripts, budgets, financial information, shot lists, interview transcripts, and shooting schedules. <p>The audiovisual records include interviews with several subjects, footage of ranch work/life, footage of rodeos, and footage of the specific subjects of the documentary. The video footage is comprehensive in documenting ranch and rodeo life and extends beyond the immediate subject of the production. Subjects included in the footage include trick riding, cattle roping, cattle branding, barrel racing, bronco riding, rodeo culture, day-to-day work on cattle ranches, rodeo practice, among others.</p>

Brimacombe family fonds

<p>The fonds consists of images that depict multiple members of the Brimacombe family from the earliest years of their presence in Alberta to the end of the Second World War. There are also multiple images of various sites around Vermilion, events, and farming.</p>;<p>Sites include multiple buildings in Vermilion, the exterior and interior of the Brimacombe Brothers store, the interior and exterior of the Breage and Vermilion post offices, Brimacombe homesteads and farms, and unidentified sites in England related to the Brimacombe family. There are also images of events such as hockey games, baseball games, picnics, community gatherings, ice-skating, and family get-togethers. Most of the images feature people or events but there are also some landscape shots and images of flora and fauna around Vermilion.</p>;<p>The remaining material consists of seven cigarette cards, which are small prints that were distributed in tea and cigarette boxes in England from the late 19th century through the early decades of the 20th century. Cards were printed in thematic series and were collected. These seven cards were part of a series of 50 cards related to gardening and were issued in 1938 by the Imperial Tobacco Company.</p>

The collection consists of over 30 identified individuals and families from the Leduc and Beaumont area, Alberta. The images also include landscapes, homesteads, Dominion Day celebrations, and agricultural working conditions and equipment.

Jeannine Goudreau fonds

The fonds consists of textual records relating to the history and genealogies of the Royer, Lambert and Goudreau families, as well as historical research materials for the Beaumont History Book created or collected by Jeannine Goudreau. The records trace the settlement by the pioneers, the history of Beaumont and the growing francophone community in Alberta. Records also related to significant events in the area including the tornado of 1987, as well as Jeannine Goudreau's activities as volunteer in Saint-Vital Parish. The audiovisual material consists of family photos and images of Beaumont and its people, including a photo album with very rare photos of friends and family members. This album holds 3 cabinet cards (albumen prints), 4 cartes de visite (albumen prints) and 31 tintypes which are direct positive images that are laterally reversed of family portraits. There are 3 charcoal crayon portraits included, of Elise Royer, Amanda Royer and Jean Royer.

The fonds consists of 15 colour, silent 8mm home movies [1 hour 45 minutes] including footage of family events and activities such as weddings, anniversaries, vacations, picnics, waterskiing, camping, and hunting in locations such as Edmonton, Jasper, Lethbridge, Glenevis Alberta, Al Oeming's Game Farm outside Edmonton, Toronto Ontario, B.C., and the U.S. Also includes some footage of Don's work with the Northern Alberta Dairy Pool (N.A.D.P.) Don was one of Jim and Irene's sons.
