The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes of meetings, personnel records, financial reports, and publicity material relating to cricket in Edmonton, Alberta, and Canada. Although the fonds contains primarily records of the E.D.C.L., many club, team, Alberta Cricket Association, and Canadian Cricket Association records are interspersed throughout. These records have been kept chronologically within the fonds to supplement information about the E.D.C.L.'s activities and to provide a context for its actions. There are a number of gaps in the records for the periods 1960-1975, and 1984-1990. Subsequent accruals have added administrative and financial records between 1992 and 1999.
