The fonds consists of ordinance maps marking trench locations in France, Belgium and Western Europe in W.W.II; the Maginot Line and southern Britain; the Western Front in September, 1918; the Western Theatre of War (NDN #565) nd. There is also a copy of "A Personal Message from the Army Commander to all ranks, 1st Canadian Corps - R.L. McCready, February, 1945.

This collection consists of material from W.A. West's work on the book "Army of the West" on the history of western Canadian military units and their involvement in various military campaigns. This includes his research, book drafts and proofs, as well as numerous photographs. Also with this collection are files related to updating the chain of office for the Mayor of the City of Edmonton, and a scrapbook and tapes from the second ride of the Alberta Field Force from Calgary to Edmonton in 1979 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the City of Edmonton. Finally, this collection includes files, newspaper clippings and photographs related to the Prince of Wales Armoury Foundations efforts to "save" the Prince of Wales Armouries.

This fonds consists of material gathered on Marguerite "Mickey" Macdonald, Alan Macdonald, Faith Clifton, Bruce Macdonald, and John Kenneth Macdonald, including newspaper clippings, military records, theatre programmes, personal writings, and other material. There is also material from Alan Macdonald's involvement with the Edmonton Little Theatre, Robbie Burns dinners, the Kiwanis Club, and the Royal Canadian Legion. This fonds also contains material from Mickey Macdonald's career in the Edmonton theatre community. MS 690.1: This fonds consists of material stemming from Allan Macdonald's career with the Loyal Edmonton regiment, including newspaper clippings, regimental diaries, regimental history project, histories of the regiment, Brigadier J.C. Jefferson memorial cairn and plaque, song books, and newspapers. This fonds also consists of clippings on Macdonald and Clifton family members (Vernis McCuaig and Bruce Macdonald), clippings on McKim Ross, theatre clippings, a copy of The Writer (January 1965), and two copies of The Fortyniner (November 1991/1993).
