Fonds consists of records relating to 34 completed productions, including films created by Livingston during his early career (1969-1986), which are now part of the company's catalogue. The productions are in a number of formats, including videocassettes, DVDs, and video reels. Viewing copies are available for all titles. Many titles have accompanying textual documentation such as publicity material and press releases.

Aza Avramovitch fonds

Fonds consists of records documenting Avramovitch's private life and architectural career. His personal papers include a few reminiscences of World War II, correspondence with friends and family, 1940s-1950s (written mostly in French, German, Italian and Serb), correspondence with Canadian government officials regarding his emigration to Canada, and various notes, drafts and typed booklets of poetry he produced from 1979-1995. The records relating to his architectural career are not business records as such but materials accumulated for personal reasons. They include academic papers written as a student, architectural drawings and plans from his early career in Europe and Montreal, and his Halifax firm, 1950s- 1980s. In addition there are reminiscences and notes about his career as an architect and files regarding some of his major projects in Halifax. Most of the latter contain photographs of buildings and sites, sketches, drawings and plans, architect's notes, clippings and similar material. Many files include handwritten explanatory and contextual notes inserted after his death by his widow, Francene Cosman Avramovitch.

George Brinley fonds

Fonds consists of correspondence received by Brinley from family and acquaintances in England and Nova Scotia. Includes letters from his sons Thomas and Wentworth, daughter and son-in-law Mary and Charles Moody, relative Edward Brinley, and friends and colleagues including General Needham. Letters pertain to Brinley's post as commissary-general, personal and family news including references to Governor and Lady Wentworth, service in the military, and events in Europe including opinions on the Napoleonic War campaign.

William Young fonds

Fonds consists of correspondence and other records documenting Young's law practice, political offices, and his family and personal business affairs. Includes letters to and from Young regarding political matters, such as elections, fisheries, roads, and the Windsor-Annapolis Railway; and legal opinions and cases dealt with including the estate of Hon. Michael Tobin. Letters between Young and his father and brothers George and Charles concern personal news and family business matters. Other records in the fonds include Young's summaries of cases heard before him in the Supreme Court, Court of Vice Admiralty, and the Court of Marriage and Divorce, ledgers, day books, financial statements and accounts, drafts of speeches, newspaper clippings, law books, personal diary, and journal of a trip to England. Fonds also contains correspondence, legal documents, and other items concerning the estate of William Young and others, 1887-1919.

Fonds consists of sound recordings of radio programs produced and broadcast by CHNS including "Tales Told Under the Town Clock", "Report from Parliament Hill", "Soldiers of the Press", and "Your Children Sing", as well as various commercials and advertisements. Fonds also contains textual records, the majority of which include scripts, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and other research material relating to "Tales Told Under the Old Town Clock". Also includes other broadcast scripts; sheet music used for instrumentals on CHNS broadcasts; question sheets for "ABC Quiz" and "IQ Challenge"; scrapbooks of newspaper clippings pertaining to radio shows, celebrities and wartime events; advertisers' receipt books; and daily journals describing broadcasts and sponsors. Fonds also contains photographs, most of which were taken by local commercial photographers between 1926 and 1970, depicting CHNS offices, studios and equipment, performers and musical groups featured on CHNS, company executives and announcers including William C. Borrett and J. Frank Willis, station and local events, and Moose River Gold Mine at the time of the 1936 mining accident.

Fonds consists of records of the Jewish Historical Society of Halifax, including correspondence, reports, surveys, questionnaires, minutes, and financial records. Also contains research and reference material compiled by society members, including newspaper clippings, journal articles and other published material; court and marriage records; bibliographies; historical and geneological notes on Jewish communities and individuals in Atlantic Canada; community lists; photographs used to illustrate a written history about the society with images of N. Heinish Co. Ltd. store on Gottingen Street, the Heinish's house and local synagogues; recordings of oral history interviews; and cemetery plot plans. Fonds also includes a large portion of correspondence, financial records, and other material created and accumulated by Jewish community leader and former society president Noa Heinish, documenting his community activities over a forty year period in relation to the Second World War and the war effort, Jewish refugees and immigration, United Jewish Appeal fundraising campaign, and Camp Kadimah. Organizations represented in the fonds include the Halifax Hebrew Community Council, Canadian Jewish Historical Society, Canadian Jewish Congress, and Zionist Men's Organization.

Stanley and his chief officers, and correspondence between Anna P. Stairs and other family members pertaining to the publication of William's journals.
