The fonds consists of Daily Registers from 1940-1956. Teachers recording attendance were Edward Rockarts, Sam Gordon, Elisabeth Palate, Ethel Fildes, Mary Warren, Twila Dale , Evelyn Taylor, Evelyn Wells, Nancy Kapral, Mrs. M.E. Smyth, Mrs. N. Cook, Sonya Pawluski and W.G. Marles.

The fonds consists of records of the Spirit River Settlement Historical Society including executive records and records of their History Book Committee which consist of planning documents, financial records, minutes and correspondence, and original and/or edited copies of submissions to the Spirit River history book Chepi Sepe. The first sections of the Book Committee records include a history of the general region and the Spirit River Settlement area, the coming of settlers and the growth of agriculture, businesses, industries, municipal governments, the history of veterans of WWI and WWII, schools, churches, medical facilities, and cultural and recreational groups. The second main body of the records contains original and/or edited copies of over 630 family histories arranged in alphabetical order by surname.

The fonds consists of a cemetery record book including the minutes from the Halcourt Church Board of Trustees meeting of April 24, 1922, appointing trustees Theodore Cleland, Thomas G. Cotton, William Dorin, Bertha Chambers, Thomas G. Chambers; and minutes from a meeting of June 10, 1946, at Halcourt where F. Brewer, B.O. Cleland, and Art Funnell discuss "the matter of the Municipality taking over the Halcourt Cemetery". Burials are recorded by date, or by family grouping. There is also a section containing names and payments for plots and remarks, and another section containing names of deceased, sex, age, date of death, date of burial, cause of death and officiating clergyman. Pages 148-152 records burials dated 1968-2009. Early pioneer family names appearing in the burial records include Funnell, Ingledew, McNaught, McEachern, Schenk, Cleland, Holmes, Churchman, Walker, and Booth. The last burial entry date recorded is in 2009. A newsclipping (undated) thanks Albert Hill, Larry Dahl, and Herman Kreiger for making wooden crosses to be used as markers, Fletcher Smith for the donation of lumber, and Bill Dahl and Peter McNaughton for setting the crosses in their places.

The fonds also contains two maps showing the locations of plots in the original Halcourt Cemetery and in the addition to the Cemetery (1954) with initials and names of plot occupants marked.

The fonds consists of records containing biographical information on current and past Grande Cache residents accumulated and created during the compilation of "Grande Cache: The People" book, a project of the Society, published in 1999.

The fonds consists of a history of the club, executive records including by-laws, membership, minutes, financial records, records of camp-outs and rallies, correspondence, associated organizations, newsclippings, members' writings an photographs and slides recording camp-outs and social events.

The fonds consists of a postcard photo of the first Montrose Junior High School; records of the Montrose Reunion Committee from 1993-1994; two scrapbooks dating from 1977-1979 and 1979-1981; and a copy of a scrapbook compiled by Patti Hannas, school librarian, from 1981-1982. All three scrapbooks contain newsclippings showing student activities and general school news from the early location in downtown Grande Prairie.

The fonds consists of farming records belonging to Elmer and Ben Dahl. These include tax records; correspondence related to a cattle association formed under the government's "Cattle Bill" which encouraged farmers to raise cattle by offering loans to the association for purchasing stock; and a letter from Anton Dahl just before his death. Also included are four photographs, and in an accrual, a photo of Halcourt United Church and a poem about the church, "Saved by Grace" written by Josie Dahl and published in the Beaverlodge Advertiser May 22, 2002.

The fonds consists of two minute books (1962-1970) and (1970 -1978) which record the members and activities of the organization from its institution in February, 1962 to its final meeting in December,1978.

The fonds consists of some personal papers and photographs related to the marriage of Andre & Jeanne Pivert in 1928, and copies of eight photographs relating to the Town of Grande Prairie from 1935 to ca. 1938.
