Elrid Gordon Young fonds

Fonds consists of sensitive material regarding chemical warfare. These papers include correspondence, research, reports, notebooks, articles, and manuals. Also included is an unpublished manuscript titled "Adventures of a Chemist in Search of Poisons" written by Dr. Young. The manuscript tells of some of his experiences during his twenty-five years as a forensic chemist.

These papers include files on the construction of the Tupper Commission and the Hall Review Commission in addition to research notes on aviation medicine and decompression sickness. The collection also includes correspondence, lectures, books, publications, photographs, and other manuscripts from his personal life and his time spent at Dalhousie University.
