The fonds consists of records which document the work and activities of Cochrane Street United Church congregation, its boards and committees and its organizations, with the records starting in 1882.

The records consist of the administrative records of the congregation which include the Quarterly Official Board, the Boards of Session and Stewards, their committees, both standing and ad hoc, and the Board of Management starting in 1987, and its committees. The fonds also includes financial records, comprising of financial statements and reports as well as some audited reports. Also included are vital statistic records dating from the independence of the congregation in 1890 and membership records dating from 1916. Annual reports, many of which were published, are included. Women's and men's groups, youth groups, and Sunday School records are also a part of this fonds.

Fonds consists of the personal and professional records of Edith Fowke, and reveals the many aspects of her career as a folklorist, writer, collector and educator. Includes manuscripts, radio scripts, correspondence, and articles related to her publishing and research (1938-1996, predominant 1962-1994); sound recordings of folk songs, notes, and correspondence related to her teaching career ([197-], 1982-1986); personal correspondence, scrapbooks, and diary (1882-1996, predominant 1950-1992); manuscripts, sound recordings of folk music, and interviews from her CBC radio programs (1949-1983, predominant 1954-1966); interviews with Edith Fowke or by her (1960-1969, 1983); a series of personal and professional correspondence (1936, 1946-1996); field recordings of folk songs she collected, indexes to these recordings, and other recordings she collected or recorded (1943, 1947?, 1954-1977). Includes photographs and two tape recorders.

The fonds consists of proposals, reports, and information files related to the operations and services of the Women's Centre; and scrapbooks of historical articles (1882-1976) from Calgary newspaper related to women's rights, the franchise, feminism, careers, birth control, abortion, divorce, and other women's issues.

Fonds consist of records pertaining to the Glovertown Pastoral Charge. These records relate to the activities of the Charge and its functional bodies. The majority of the records are in the form of minutes, financial records and vital statistics.

The fonds consists of Sidney’s diaries and notebooks (1883-1954); correspondence between Isabelle and Sidney during their courtship and early married life (1906-1910); extensive correspondence between Sidney (serving overseas) and Isabelle (on the home front) during the First World War (1916-1918); letters to Sidney from his Brighton siblings, whom he re-meets during the war (1916-1918); letters from Isabelle’s family in Manitoba (1908-1952); letters to Sidney and Isabelle from their children (1932-1947), in particular from Alice and Mabel who trained as nurses at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (1938-1941); and Isabelle’s scrapbook of articles and memorabilia about Craigmyle (1935-1965).

The fonds consists of diaries; certificates and membership cards; files related to art galleries which featured her work; correspondence with friends and students; records pertaining to Cyril E. Power (friend and mentor); lists of her art works; art suppliers' files; student lists for painting and recorder classes; drafts of Artist's Kitchen; and photographs of her family, homes, and studios in England; the voyage to Canada; and her friends, students and life in Campbell River.

The fonds consists of R.G. Robinson's correspondence and legal papers, primarily about ranch matters (1885-1920); a small amount of Joseph and Hester's correspondence (1930-1931); and Kathleen's correspondence related to her genealogical research (1949-1964), including letters from her cousin Mary Campbell and her aunts Maria Van Wart and Belle Bogue.

The fonds contains all records pertaining to both the Winnipeg General and Health Sciences Centre Schools of Nursing including lists of enrolees, student time books, notes, and handbooks, teaching materials, examination results from the first quarter of the twentieth century, some diplomas and one complete run of years books.

The fonds also contains Alumni related material including the Alumnae Journal, records and history of the Alumni Association, biographical information on select graduates, reference files on nursing and the history of nursing, and information on the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses (MARN).

The photograph collection contains images of student and nursing staff both at graduation and in and around the hospital campus. The slide collection contains teaching materials.

The special collection consists of textbooks, theses, an incomplete second run of the Alumni Journal and Yearbook, an incomplete run of the Canadian Nurse Journal and a small number of volumes related to the history of nursing. In addition, a collection of artwork and artifacts also exist including pins, uniforms, china and silverware

Fonds consists of Lindstrom's professorial and scholarly research files throughout her career, as well as records documenting her academic activities. Research files pertain to her publications and monographs such as "Defiant Sisters : A Social History of Finnish Immigrant Women in Canada, 1890-1930" (both the English and Finnish editions), and "From Heroes to Enemies : Finns in Canada, 1937-1947," as well as book chapters, articles, papers, presentations and lectures, and her involvement with the National Film Board production "Letters from Karelia," and subsequent research. The research files span the activities of Finnish and Finnish-Canadian organizations across the political spectrum, such as the Finnish Organization of Canada (left wing), and Loyal Finns in Canada (right wing). Records include oral history interviews (audio cassettes and transcripts), research notes, clippings, a significant and extensive number of photograph and letter collections passed down through generations of Finnish Canadians, diaries, correspondence, publication drafts, academic and professorial notes, microfilm of Finnish language newspapers published in Canada and archival records, financial records of Finnish-Canadian organizations such as newspapers and post-World War II relief funding bodies, scrapbooks, photocopies of rare and unusual documents such as two volumes of a Soviet register of Finnish War Crimes, a list of persons found in the mass grave at Karhumaki, and Soviet lists of North American Finns who journeyed to Karelia to help build a socialist utopia there, academic and professorial files, publicity files, files pertaining to her work with the School of Women's Studies, and her own papers as a university student. The fonds also includes letters written by Lindstrom as a newly-arrived teenaged immigrant to Canada to her best friend in Finland; many of these letters were published in Finnish with English translation in 'Letters from an immigrant teenager' in 2012.

The fonds consists of an extensive scrapbook compiled by Bernice Bray, granddaughter of Richard and Laura Walsh. The scrapbook has sections for Richard and Laura Walsh, and for each of their eight children, and includes genealogical charts and family histories; photographs of family members, ranches, and reunions; and newspaper clippings about the family's activities.
