Tribute album

This folder contains a collection of handwritten tributes to Mrs. E. L. Curts from 1855. Several images are also included in the album. The tributes are written by a variety of individuals.

Bibles and Scripture Atlas

This series includes one copy each of The New Testament (An American Translation, Goodspeed, 1923), New Testament in Greek (Westcott & Hort, Student’s Edition With Lexicon, 1896) and The Scripture Atlas, 1878 by W. & A. K. Johnston (containing maps of Egypt, Sinai, Palestine and Jerusalem) [includes an image from 1867].

Sermons: God, Jesus and the Bible and Partial/Non-Sermon Transcripts

This series contains sermons that were not previously identified by Johns as belonging in any group or series and that were not readily associated with any church event or holiday. The sermons in this series relate to the life, ministry, character, nature and death of Jesus, the nature of God, the writing and life of Paul, various biblical characters and the biblical text itself. A folder gathering together partial or incomplete transcripts, as well as other types of addresses given by Johns, is also included. This series contains photographs that were found amongst Ridd's textual records. The photographs originate primarily from Ridd's academic work, ministerial work, interest in Central America and participation in sports. Some photographs of Ridd that appear to have been displayed (mounted on foamcore) are also present. Photographs from Ridd's immediate and extended family are not found in this series.

This series includes records collected or originated by Rev. George A. McMillan that could not be appropriately placed into another series. Such records include biographical material, custodial material pertaining to the collection, various publications and records relating to the George McMillan Memorial Fund.

University and Education

This series consists of documents detailing Lockhart’s life as a student in Canada and in Scotland, his position in the Student Christian Movement and his involvement with Victoria University as a graduate and a member of the alumni.
