This collection consists of a photo album containing 33 images, 2 photographs, and 1 Poole & Thompson Brand cardboard potato tag, ca. 1910. The photographs are primarily of Montague and Murray River water scenes, of the fishing and shipping industries, and of Red Cliffs. Also included are several images of Newfoundland scenery. The two photographs which were not originally in the photo album are stamped on the front with the name "Cumming" referring to William Cumming who was a local Montague photographer around the turn of the century.

This collection consists of a day book, a copy of the "Kings County Gazette and the Eastern Advocate" for 21 March 1872, and a copy of the "Royal Gazette" for 11 December 1860. The day book appears to be a business journal for a general store from the Lower Montague or Sturgeon area. It is arranged by the names of the individuals who had accounts with the business and includes such information as the date and nature of the transaction as well as the amount of the purchase and/or the amount paid on account. It dates from 10 October 1886 to 8 December 1911.

This single collected item consists of lottery ticket for a "Map of P. E. Island To be drawn for on the 2nd of Feb. 1864." The ticket is made out to a Mr. Angus Andrew Walker of Grand River, Lot 55. The creator of this item is unknown. The ticket indicates that a Patrick Morrison was the manager of the unidentified company or organization which sponsored the lottery.

This collection consists of 6 ledgers from Alex Campbell's blacksmith shop which are arranged by the customers' names and include such information as date, service or materials involved in the transaction, debits, and credits. Also included in the collection are correspondence and receipts concerning the younger Alex Campbell's involvement in fox farming and a photograph of Mr. and Mrs. James Acorn.
