The fonds consists of family history written by Joe Shoctor, an oral history interview with Joe Shoctor, a videotaped tribute to Joe prepared for the Citadel Theatre, text of speeches given by and about Joe. It also contains programs from dinners in Joe's honour, newspaper articles about Joe, two eulogies, photos of the family and other items pertaining to the family and the Edmonton Jewish community, the Beth Israel Synagogue, and the Citadel Theatre. Also includes four volumes of the Evergreen and Gold, 1942, 43, 44 & 46. The Fonds includes of the following series: 1. Shoctor Family History(1920-2005). The series consists of items relating to the history of the Shoctor and Wine families, including photographs, obituaries, diplomas and family trees. This series consists of materials relating to awards and honours given to Joe Shocotr.
