The collection consists of copies of select cases heard at the Supreme Court sessions held in Red Deer, Alberta

The fonds consists of photographs of the McMullen family (ca. 1875-1942), an autograph album (1874-1881), certificates of membership in various lodges of the Freemasons, notary licenses for the colonies of Upper Canada and Canada (1847-1858), confirmations and baptism (1895), and death registration (1942).

The collection consists of the speeches and correspondence of Francis Philip Galbraith, the owner-publisher of the Red Deer Advocate (1937-1957), editorial department history files (1967-1978) and photographs (1911-1970). Includes Francis Philip Galbraith's correspondence file on the legal challenges to the 1937 Alberta Press Act and subsequent Pulitzer Prize award.

The fonds consists of the business records of James McNicol (1900-1921), McNicol and Buckley family records (ca. 1855-1924), and remnants of the records of the Lewis Shular insurance business (1904-1905), Smith and McKim general store (1903), the Blackfalds Milling Company (1905), the Local Improvement District for the Blackfalds area (1904-1906), the Western Co-operative Loan and Investment Company, Local Board at Blackfalds (1903-1908), and the Colonial Investment Company of Winnipeg, Local Board at Blackfalds (1903-1909).
