There are three letters to Don McLauchlan, one from Robert Killam, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and two from Grace Tomkinson, New York; notes and drafts of the Windsor / Harper / Killam family trees, with an attached note to Don McLauchlan from Vince Windsor; and Windsor / Harper / Killam family trees from the "Mount Allison Record", Fall, 1971 (annotated).

The fonds consists of Northwood Pulp & Timber Ltd.s operational and administration records for the sawmills located throughout the northern interior and Prince George, British Columbia under their control during 1952 to 1986. The records provide an extensive look into the sawmill operation from legislation, policies and procedures to the financial records and the sawmill operation itself. The Seaweed Inventory Project, in particular, is a valuable, detailed record and baseline survey of a substantial part of the coastline of BC, and the vegetation and biota (thus measurable on a global scale) supported at the time of the surveys done in 1972 and 1974. These data stand as a permanent record against which any coastal changes can be compared and measured. The sedentary, attached nature of coastal biota makes it particularly responsive to, and thus a sensitive indicator of changes in their environment. Forces of change include oil spills, toxic spills, runoff from land developments, marina construction, and natural catastrophic events.

The fonds consists of records pertaining to the University of Victoria's Faculty of Arts and Science, Joint Faculties, Faculty Association, Faculty of Graduate Studies, and various university committees and department head meetings. Records include minutes, notes, reports, student lists, committee recommendations, curriculum evaluation forms, and student registration statistics. Fonds includes copies of Climenhaga's curriculum vitae and some published articles. Fonds also includes records relating to the Vancouver Island Hockey League and its predecessor, the Esquimalt and District Amateur Hockey League, including correspondence, minutes, financial statements and rule books.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook containing approximately 250 specimens of dried botanical specimens collected between 1895 and 1918. Each of the specimens has been labelled with name, location and date. Specimens have been collected from a variety of places, including Weymouth, Devonshire, Plymouth, Yorkshire, Sussex, Cornwall, Ilfracombe, Cherbourg, North Donegal, County Antrim, County Down, County Galway, the Isle of Man and, the Isle of Wight.

The fonds consists of the following series: Committees, Programmes, Planning, Open Houses, Land Acquisitions, and Buildings. Also includes plans for the construction of a marine science vessel, which was later named the "John Strickland."

The fonds consists of general committee files that contain an incomplete set of minutes, and final recommendations; and course files with departmental submissions. The chairs' files contain correspondence regarding contentious issues, and some departmental submission and minutes.
