Also consists of plans of railway stations and their grounds; "title record" plans recording the names of individual land owners throughout the west; ledgers of townsite land sales, primarily in Alberta and British Columbia; and ledgers of land leases in western Canadian communities, including Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba.

The fonds consists of a diary of his work in the north (1933-1934); newsclippings regarding Bowen, Wop May and various northern events (1927-1984); and photographs of bush flying and military group (ca. 1930-1935).

The fonds consists of papers related to the Calgary Stampede, the arts scene in Calgary, Canadian Pacific Railway's Ogden shops, the Sheet metal workers union, the Calgary Zoo, A.E. Includes Allan's reminiscences of Calgary in the 1900s-1910s (1974).
