The fonds consists of school, real property and wild land assessment rolls (1919-1924) of the Alberni Assessment District.

The collection consists of settlement maps (including townsite and subdivision plans), land use maps, street maps, logging and forest road maps, mineral claim maps, railroad and rights-of-way maps, real estate maps, recreational maps (including parks), and other maps of communities and areas in the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District.
