Collection consists of eight newspaper clippings, seven of which are a series of articles on the findings of the Oxford University Ellesmere Land Expedition, with the eighth being a photograph of the Expedition’s winter quarters in Etah, Greenland. Five of the articles were written by the expedition leader, Mr. Noel Humphreys and the other two were written by members of the Expedition, Mr. Moore and Mr. Haig-Thomas. The articles were originally published in the “Times” of London but the clippings appear to be from the “New Zealand Herald”.

The fonds consists of two series:;Cypress Hills books. -- 35 cm textual records. -- 1986 - 2007. Series consists of adminsitrative records regarding the project to write both editions; Cypress Hills: The Land and its People and Cypress Hills: An Island by Itself as wells as copies of numerous resources dating from the 1830s to 1990s used in researching the books. Other Projects. -- 27 cm of textual records and other materials. -- 1979 - 2006. Series consists of administrative records and research materials copied and collected for researching various articles, book reviews, and reports regarding late ninteenth and early twentieth century Canadian Plains history.

The fonds consists of an article written by Ms. Krygier's granddaughter, Tal Hyman, about their trip together to Washington, D.C. to attend the 10th anniversary tribute to Holocaust Survivors at the National Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. in 2003. There are also 3 photographs from the trip.

The fonds consists of 21 audio cassettes (recorded on a Sony TcM 5000 EV) containing interviews with twenty longtime residents and travelers in the Kakwa and Two Lakes area: Phil Comeau, Bob Neufeld, Norm Drysdale, Dorothy Comeau, Fred Comeau, Norman Eng, Dave Robertson, June Neufeld, Luther Kozowan, Rick Erlendson, Ben Foster, Pete McCullough, Mable Tennant, Suzy Moberly, Lois Lofstrom, Michael Ryan, Don Nelson, Dave Schenk, Norm Trepanier, and Doug Tennant. This collection consists of material collected by John C. Dickins on his father "Punch" Dickins, including his own reflections on his father's life, a laser copied picture of Punch Dickins, advertisements for artwork that includes Punch, and an obituary from the London Weekly Telegraph (U.K.).

The fonds consists of a memorandum of the Reverend Robert T. Rundle prepared by Reverend G.M. Hutchinson, and a short history of the British (Wesleyan) Mission to North America.

The collection consists of five, 3 1/4"X5 1/2", black and white photographs of an outing to the Glenmore Dam, Alberta in 1932.

The Archives General File is an artificial collection of accessions which do not constitute separate fonds or collections or cannot be placed within existing fonds or collections. Included in the collection are textual records of many types, such as manuscripts, reports, letters, diaries, speeches, poetry, plans and others; photographs in the form of prints, negatives, transparencies, albums, postcards, etc. sound recorded interviews and programmes; and motion pictures. Material pertains broadly to the Banff area and many other areas within the Archives collecting mandate. Eighteen albumen prints are uncredited views along the Canadian Pacific Railway between Glacier, B.C. and Canmore, Alberta, ca.1895. Also includes views by Bailey Bros., H. O. Dodge, Alexander Henderson, T. J. Hileman, B. W. Kilburn, Neelands Bros., W. J. Oliver, Henry Greenwood Peabody, Prest Photo Company (William Archie Prest), and others. Nineteen prints, received as contents of 5 album pages, are travel views between Banff, the Pacific Coast and Washington, U.S.A. Includes views of Lake Minnewanka, Banff Springs Hotel and Glacier, B.C. Views are by Wm. Notman & Son, Boorne & May and other unidentified professional photographers. Album is presentation album of professional views taken along the Canadian Pacific Railway between Victoria, B.C. and Banff, Alberta, September to October 1889, by an unknown photographer. Includes views of Banff and area, Field and Glacier areas, Fraser Canyon, Vancouver and Victoria. Album was possibly produced by of for the CPR. Views are similar to those produced by other professional photographers working along the railway. Images in album are accompanied by hand-written captions and exact dates. Collection was assembled by the Archives & Library, Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.
