The collection consists of records that did not fit the mandate of the Greater Vernon Museum and Archives and includes photographs of the Lieutenant Governor of the North-West Territories, Edgar Dewdney, homesteads and farmhouses, aboriginal families and women trainees at the Air Observer School; a Drumheller District Tourist Guide; an issue of "The Roteller," the official bulletin of the Drumheller Rotary Club and mechanically produced photographic reproductions of various mountain scenes including Banff Springs Hotel.

The collection consists of photographs featuring Hazel McCuaig's family in the early part of the 20th century at events such as a wedding at Rutherford House and views of Rutherford House. There is also a snapshot of King Edward VII and is identified as being taken in Banff in 1906. The collection also includes photocopied newspaper clippings and various Government of Alberta and other publications including Law Society of Alberta regulations, Department of Education regulations and catalogue of books for public schools and libraries, United Farmers of Alberta (UFA) Co-operative Elevator Company notices, Canadian Bank of Commerce New Index of Wholesale Prices in Canada, an issue of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Times, issues of The Globe newspaper, and various other publications including Tom Taylor's Motor Trip Through the Canadian Rockies, General Description of the Resources and Capabilities of the Canadian North-West, Rundle in Alberta, A Descriptive Narrative of Banff National Park, The Jubilee of Confederation, and Premiums and Losses in Alberta of Insurance Companies.

Collection consists of copied photographs depicting various people, buildings, and views in Vegreville, Alberta and the surrounding areas, including log cabins, farming and farm houses, street views, buildings, businesses, agricultural machinery, carriages and carts, livestock, churches, hospitals, houses, residents of boys' homes, schools and school children, automobiles, barns, sports teams, nurses and nurses residences, Boy Scouts, sleighs and sleds, and railroads. The images date from the early 1900's to the early 1970's, predominantly from 1902-1955. Collection also includes a copied newspaper clipping about St. Joseph's Hospital circa 1961.

<p>The collection consists of records from a wide variety of sources that are all related to progressive movements and the Canadian left. There are particularly large amounts of records from the Alberta New Democrats and the Strathcona NDP constituency association as well as material from the Alberta Federation of Labour, the Woodsworth-Irvine Socialist Fellowship, and the Edmonton Women's Coalition. <p>The NDP material consists of committee files from the Edmonton NDP Anti-War Committee, the Women's Committee, and the Environment Committee; scrapbooks and documents created by Franklin Foster related to his 1975 NDP campaign for the Bonnyville MLA seat; Alberta New Democrat publications, magazines, and reports; and minutes and administrative files from the Strathcona NDP constituency. <p>In addition to the Franklin Foster NDP material, there is also a copy of an abridged version of Foster's PhD dissertation on John E. Brownlee. <p>The non-NDP material consists of a conference packet from the 1965 Summer Seminar of the Woodsworth-Irvine Socialist Fellowship; several papers and research documents published by leftist and progressive organizations such as the Revolutionary Marxist Group (Saskatchewan), the Woodsworth-Irvine Socialist Fellowship, and the Edmonton Women's Coalition; newsletters and pamphlets from the Edmonton Women's Coalition; several issues of The Other Alberta Report, a progressive compendium of Alberta-focused news analysis; and Alberta Federation of Labour publications.</p>
