The fonds consists of records created and received by the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie in the course of their operations and activities. The records include minutes and reports, planning documents, correspondence, committee minutes and planning materials, membership lists, rosters, and cards, financial statements and general ledger, newsletters and publications, photographs, newspaper clippings, and Rotary International manuals and booklets.

The fonds is divided into seven series: Executive Records, Committees, Membership, Financial Records, Publications, Photographs and Scrapbooks, and Rotary International.

The fonds consists of the first minute book for the Valleyview Kinsmen, from January 13 to June 21, 1961.

The fonds consists of the proofs for "People of the Pass" written by Madelon Truax and Beth Sheehan in 1988. There are two sets of proofs. One is on 11 x 17 sheets of paper, one section per chapter, but with no photographs or page divisions. This set appears to have been used for proof-reading and corrections. The second set of proofs are 20 x 24 in. sheets of paper folded in 8ths and printed both sides to make 16 pages. There are 19 sections of 16 pages each, with photographs included throughout, to make up the 144 pages in the book. The proofs are accompanied by some loose sheets, including a list of the 274 photographs used in the book, coded to indicate who they came from, and designs for the front and back covers and introductory pages. There are also four photographs: a postcard of Kinuseo Falls by R.E. Leake used for the front of the book; Madelon & Garnet Truax in 1986; Everett, Beth, Kells and Moira Sheehan in 1987; and Beth with "the oven" at a winter camp at Two Lakes in 1986.

"People of the Pass" is the story of the people who dreamed of, engineered, and laboured on the Monkman Pass Highway through the Rocky Mountains southwest of Beaverlodge. This road was built with volunteer labour during the depression and, although it was never improved to become an all-weather road, it is a monument to industry and courage. The book was published by the Beaverlodge Historical Society and printed by Menzies Printers.

The fonds consists of one minute book detailing the decisions made by the Womans Association for the years 1932-1933, their constitution and membership list, and accounts from 1936.

The fonds consists of 7 photographs of a Junior Forest Warden event possibly held in a church basement as well as some news clippings, an invitation and notes on different games to play in the water.

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, incorporation documents, financial records and membership information for the Peace Country Sports Therapy Association, which was formed after the 1995 Canada Winter Games were held at Grande Prairie.

The fonds consists of records related to the operation and activities of the Grande Prairie and District Branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society. The material dates from 1974 to 2011 and includes records such as minutes, financial statements and ledgers, membership and newsletter exchange lists, surnames researched by members, correspondence, newspaper clippings and announcements, organizational records for a genealogical course and Gen Fair, resources compiled by the group on obituaries, grave markers, and vital statistics in newspaper articles, and the Heritage Seekers newsletter. The fonds also includes some records of the parent organization, most notably copies of the provincial Relatively Speaking newsletter.

The fonds is divided into seven series based on record type and content: Executive Records, Financial Records, Correspondence and Publicity, Programs and Events, Publications and Resources, and Alberta Genealogical Society.

Portions of the fonds had a strongly apparent original order, which has been maintained by the Archivist as much as possible. Other miscellaneous groups of records were integrated into the series structure by the Archivist. Since the records arrived in several accessions from several sources, an overall order was not apparent.

The fonds consists of minute books 1948-1999, financial records 1949-1997, correspondence 1949-1998, cook books (1982 and 1992), records relating to the Kleskun School Reunion 1987, and the Ladies Club Reunion 1990. There are also 58 photographs taken of club members, various events, and quilts made by the club.
There was no discernible original order in the records when they arrived. Order was imposed on them by the archivist based on the content of the records.

The fonds consists of minute books, financial records, correspondence, annual returns, grant files, records relating to the North Kleskun Athletic Club, insurance and tax records, and records relating to the Kleskun Community Hall. There are also 30 color photographs taken at various events at the community hall between 1983-1990.

The fonds consists of one annual report dated November 3, 1983, describing the different aspects of the running of the hall for its first year.
