Fonds consists of material documenting early BC Jewish history. Fonds is arranged into two series: Congregation Emanu-El manuscripts; and Letters from Abraham Blackman to his brother Morris, Jewish merchants in colonial British Columbia.

The collection consists of images of the construction of the building, the building itself (exterior and interior), chapel, grounds, social activities, Craft Club gatherings, funerals, and jubilees.

The fonds consists of house chronicles, local council minutes, local accounts and visitations, and reference files.

Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Columbia Lodge No.
2 from 1870 to 1884. Columbia Lodge No. 2 is based
in Victoria, BC.

The fonds consists of portraits and photographs of early Vancouver (1888-1900) and Victoria as well as portraits and photographs of B.C. towns (1920-1931).

The fonds consists of records documenting Friedmann's interests and activities both on and off the University of Victoria campus. Fonds includes reports, correspondence, minutes of meetings and course outlines for new courses offered in physics (including the co-op programme), nursing, and social work, records of Senate and faculty committees, material relating to the resignations of University of Victoria Presidents Bruce Partridge and Malcolm Taylor and the appointment as President of Howard Petch, material relating to the University of Victoria Open Houses, and records (including constitutions, minutes financial records) relating to the Cadboro Bay Ratepayers Association and Community Plan, the Canadian Parents for French, the Vancouver Island Opera Society and the Victoria Symphony Society.

The fonds consists of photographs of social events in Chinese-Canadian communities in Vancouver and Victoria. Many of the earlier photographs were created by the Chinatown News newspaper of Vancouver.

The fonds consists of certificates and awards of recognition received by Annie McVie for her community work along with photographs of McVie and of buildings operated by the Victoria Senior Citizens Housing Authority.

The fonds consists of glass plate negatives of the military, the Pacific Great Eastern Railway, and people and scenes of Vancouver and Victoria. Some of the photographs are by V. Vinson.
