Fonds consists of textual and photographic records accumulated by Mr. Harry Moscoe during the 1940 to 1947 period. The majority of these records document Mr. Moscoe's activities as Executive Director of the Canadian Jewish Congress, Eastern Region, War Efforts Committee. A few files also document examples of his personal, financial and legal office activities, while still living in Kirkland Lake and later in Montreal.
War Efforts Committee records focus on the CJC's responsibilities for: Servicemen's Centres in Halifax, Montreal, Moncton and St. John, Red Cross blood drives, tracking Jewish officers, Jewish casualties, and regular meetings of the War Efforts Committee. Also here are extensive newspaper clippings documenting Jewish servicemen' activities, casualties, heroics and decorations.
Of special note is a photograph which features seven uniformed Canadian Jewish chaplains who served during the Second World War. They are: Rabbi Abraham Babb, Rabbi David Monson, Rabbi Oscar Fassman, Rabbi Charles Bender, Rabbi Samuel Cass, Rabbi Jacob Eisen and Rabbi Morrris Casriel Katz.

The fonds documents Edgar Tilden Albert's activities as a member of the Organizing Committee of York University and his travelling to Soviet Union for the period 1955-1971.

The fonds consists of annual reports of the Consumers' Gas Company (1849-1925) [incomplete], minutes of the Board of Directors' meetings (1947-1925), minutes of special Board meetings, taken from the secretary's and president's notes and agendas; minutes of the Finance Committee (1852-1874), of the Works Committee (1853-1873), and of selected meetings of the Executive Committee (1805-1909). As well, there is a run of 'Street lamps' [publication] (1887-1906).

Fonds consists of correspondence of Albert Edward Kemp with political colleagues, government and parliamentary business. There is also financial material relating to Kemp Manufacturing Co., 1909-1923, including financial statements.

The fonds documents D. McCormack Smyth's career as an administrator both in private corporation and in academic institutions as well as his teaching activities in administration for the period 1947-1986.

This fonds consists of 5 bluepirnts all relating to the Victoria Public Hospital in Fredericton New Brunswick. There is one blueprint each of the north elevation, section, basement floor for the proposed boiler plant, ground floor, and present Fraser Building -- excavation and footings plan for north wing extension.
