The collection consists of material relating to the centennial celebrations held in Langley, B.C. on April 26, 1973, including event schedules and programmes, council meeting agenda, and draft copies of a history of Langley to be placed in a time capsule. Collection also includes geneaologies of families of the original 1872 petitioners for incorporation, compiled by the 100th Anniversary Committee.

The collection consists of 2 typewritten copies of a history of Langley municipality, B.C., entitled "Our Fiftieth Anniversary", and 2 draft copies of a brief history of Fort Langley, B.C. (1923).
