The fonds consists of correspondence and reports relating to foreign relief work, Mennonite service programs, and the establishment of the Mennonite Central Committee in B.C. Fonds also includes photographs of church groups and activities, certificates, clippings, and reference material pertaining to Wien's life.

The fonds consists of records relating to the internment of Japanese Canadians. Records include photographs of the internment camps at Hastings Park, as well as other camps in B.C. and Alberta. Fonds also includes two government reports entitled: "The Administration of Japanese Affairs in Canada, 1942-1944, Removal of Japanese from Protected Areas", and "The Hastings Park Clearing Station".

The fonds consists of some administrative and operational records for the Society, generated by Mr. Leonoff in his capacity as a director, an extensive collection of historical research material, as well as drafts and correspondence relating to publication of this historical research material in various monographs and articles.

The fonds consists of manuscripts and notes relating to Heidebrecht's writings. The fonds also contains Heidebrecht's correspondence with and research notes about Russian Mennonites who fought in World War I.

Fonds also includes wartime correspondence (1942-1949), financial records (1922-1941 and 1957-1989), as well as scrapbooks and diaries (1929-1985). Photographs depict friends and family.

The collection consists of photographs of people, events, organizations, and institutional activities relating to the Japanese-Canadian community, primarily in British Columbia. Many of the photographs depict scenes of Japanese-Canadian life in internment and relocation camps during and after World War II.

The collection consists of photographs depicting the growth and development of the Canadian Japanese community in B.C. from early immigration to just prior to the redress movement.

The collection consists of documents and photographs intentionally assembled collection of discrete items documenting the following areas: the occupational pursuits of B.C. and Yukon Jewry; the organized religious life of Jews in B.C.; leisure activities; and the membership and good works of organizations formed to aid and represent the Jewish community, such as the National Council of Jewish Women. There is also a wide range of individual and family portraits, and photographs of headstones.

The fonds consists of a large portion of the photographic archives of the newspaper dating primarily from 1960 to 1990, microfilm copies of back issues including material published by predecessor community newspapers, and hard copies of recent "Bulletin" issues.
