This fonds consists of the following three volumes written by Dr. MacKieson: a case book dated from 1826 to 1857; a "Code of Medical Experience" dated 1855 which documents types of illnesses, their symptoms, and remedies; and a formulary of medical and surgical procedures dated 1876.

The academic records include documents pertaining to Roy Fraser's academic life at McGill University, i.e. correspondence from the University and examination results. The biographical information series consists of daily journals and accounts of Roy Fraser.

The fonds consists of the following account book for his practice between June 1836 and 1883. This volumes contains a chronological account of patients treated. Entries give the patient's name, place of residence, medication prescribed, and amount owing. Occasionally, the nature of the illness is given. A separate listing of babies delivered, entered under the father's name, gives sex of child, date of delivery, and amount owing for services.

The fonds consists of a journal which provides a chronological listing of patients treated by Doctor Grigg between 1876 and 1881. Entries contain patients' name, place of residence, subsequent visits, medication prescribed and amount owing. After Grigg's death, his journal was used as an account book by an unidentified general store.

This fonds consists of the doctor's daybooks, which are microfilmed and date from 1875-1884. They contain patients' names, bills and payments, newspaper clippings, and other writings including quotations and treatments for ailments. The fonds also includes one undated black and white photograph of Dr. George A.C. MacIntosh as well as a photocopy of the photographic envelope, which is addressed to Mrs. Dr. MacIntosh of Commercial Rd., Murray River, P.E.I.

This fonds consists of one account book, spanning the years 1830 to 1883, which lists: the services purchased by clients; medicines sold to individuals; goods purchased by Dr. McKeown; and lists of births attended (listed by date, father's name, gender of baby, and fee charged). A couple of pages from the Church of Scotland Monthly Record are also adhered to the pages of the account book.
