Fonds consists of pages of handwritten notes, removed from a family bible. They record births, deaths and marriages of the Burnside family and their descendants, including some family obituaries. Also contained is a financial report for St. James Presbyterian Church, Antigonish for the year 1915.

a small ledger containing minutes of meetings and letters of correspondence relating to the establishment of telephone service between Antigonish and Lakevale. Activities of the local telephone company were also recorded.

Fonds consists of 36 photographic images, three small booklets, several notes, letters and invitations. Also included are two small pins and a badge. All the material is related to Mary Duggan MacDougall's history with the Antigonish Girl Guides and her roles as guide, parent of guide and reunion attendee.
