File consists of one notebook of surgical lectures given by Dr. Munro. There are a few pages of poetry in the notebook.

File contains Halifax Medical College (Dalhousie College and University Medical Faculty) registration tickets and attendance/examination cards for Anatomy, Materia Medica, Practical Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Botany and Chemistry.

File consists of two handwritten letters by Charles Tupper. The earlier is an 1887 letter of introduction to Sir Andrew Clark regarding Mr. Freeborn, a Canadian medical student in London. The latter was written in 1911 to Mrs. J. Ross Smith in Amherst, Nova Scotia thanking her for an earlier correspondence regarding election results.
