The book is a collection of anecdotes, stories and personal recollections of people, events, and customs from the past.

Includes views of various expeditions such as Bedaux, Speckles, Bennett, Kingman and others. Views of skiing, fishing and hunting. The construction of the Astoria River dam and pipeline and the Pyramid Mountain microvave tower are also represented. Joe Weiss photographed the Lovat Scouts and the Para Rescue unit which trained in Jasper. Included in the photgraphs series is a group of portraits too numerous to list. Documents pertain to Joe Weiss and include Swiss correspondence, newspaper clippping, artistic information about his photographs, government documents and general information about his life.

Fonds consists of the documents and financial records of the Jasper Story an outdoor musical production held in mid July 1978-1980 at the Crater Theatre across the road from the Whistler campground. The production told the story of the Overlanders seeking their way to the Caribou gold fields. The first production of this musical was performed in 1956 for about four years at the Palisades, formerly the Swift Place.
