The fonds consists of records from the Albert E. Wood family. It includes personal and business correspondence, three nursing notebooks belonging to Marguerite Wood, certificates, ephemera and photographs of family, scenes in Prince Rupert such as fishing boats, the cold storage plant, 5th Avenue West and 2nd Avenue West in the 1920s, Rebekah Lodge members, Tsimpsian Lodge members, the 1930 graduating class of the Prince Rupert Hospital School of Nursing, Bill Smith and Bill Wilson-Murray of Northern B.C. Power. It also includes records and postcards from Margaret Maddrell, Bert Wood's sister, and her first husband, Thomas Clwydd Williams.

The collection consists of a photo album that contains photographs of military personnel. Also included are postcards sent to Arlene Russell, newspaper clippings, and military artifacts such as badges, pins, and Second World War artifacts.

The fonds consists of a charter, cashbooks, a "Sick Benefit Fund" journal book, agreements, correspondence, minutes, and reference files.

The collection consists of maps and photographs. It includes two surveys of Inverness Cannery (1923, 1934), a blueprint showing wartime houses' sewer connections (1945), a Canadian National Railways map of the waterfront showing businesses (1947), and photographs of buildings and homes in Prince Rupert and Shawatlans (195-).

The fonds consists of textual records from business transactions at BC Packers Sunnyside Cannery between 1949 and 1976. These include receipts, coupon books from BC Packers Ltd., Nelson Bros. Fisheries Ltd., and J.H. Todd & Sons Ltd. Also includes packer sheets, fishermen's weekly statements, journal vouchers, invoices, forms, and correspondence of various fishermen at Sunnyside.

Postcard depicts Canadian Fish & Cold Storage employees at the Seal Cove plant in Prince Rupert, ca. 1935. Included in the photograph are Alex Strachan, Alec Murray, Arthur Bell, Bob Woods, Pete Christ, Mr. Pick, Tom Elliott, Bill Hunter, John Murray, Jimmie Hillman, Alec Gomez, William Baillie, Joe Martin, Harry Worsfield, Joe Davidson, Jim Taylor, Ted Davidson, Mr. Lawson, Charles Baptie, and James H. McGlashan.

The fonds consists of photographs of early Prince Rupert showing the building of the town site from the first pile driven to build the wharf in 1906, the first grade of the railway in 1908, the first GTP passenger train, and scenes of early Prince Rupert and the surrounding area up until to the 1920s. There are photographs of people in Prince Rupert, including family and colleagues, nurses during WWI, the drydock, planes, parades, boats, steamships, reservoirs, the Skeena River, Ocean Falls, the cold storage plant, football games, picnics, fire trucks, one photograph of native children in Metlakatla, and a logging camp at Alice Arm. It also includes a certificate of appointment from when Ernest was made a Notary Public on September 21, 1909 and a postcard received by Ernest in Prince Rupert in July 1907, mailed from England June 3, 1907.

The fonds consists of photographs, slides, negatives, maps, and textual records created and gathered by Gladys Young Blyth. These contain local scenes such as lighthouses, totem poles, Seafest activities, fish boats, crab traps, North Pacific Cannery, Kwinitsa Station, and the seaplane base at Seal Cove. The maps and sketches are of Kitselas, Port Essington, Union Passage and Tuwartz Inlet, Otter Passage to Bonilla Island, Work Channel, and a copy of the plan of the Kit-Kah-Tla Indian Reserves Coast District, 1891-1892. Her reference notes refer to the Hudson's Bay Company, First Nations, Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, the pictograph at Tyee, and the net building industry.

Collection contains photographs and negatives. Includes family and friends, Gunnard's boat "Ross A", the United Church, and a Grade 3 class photo from Borden Street School (1945).

The fonds consists of photographs of the Prince Rupert Drydock. Seven of the photographs were taken during the war and the others were taken later in 1983 when it was demolished.
