Le fonds se compose, d'une part, de dossiers administratifs de la Gatineau Valley Historical Society (liste de membres, bulletins) ; d'autre part, on y trouve plusieurs dossiers de recherches historiques ou généalogiques (familles Kirk, Fitzpatrick, McLaughlin), et plusieurs enregistrements sonores d'entrevues ou de souvenirs (histoire locale, musique traditionnelle, folklore amérindien, allemand ou canadien-français), qui nous permettent de mieux connaître cette région.
