The fonds consists of 1148 glass plate negatives created or collected by Whitehorse photographer E.J. Hamacher. The negatives were taken ca. 1898-1935. They include panoramic views and images of Yukon communities and Skagway, Alaska; transportation (sternwheelers, automobiles, dogsleds, etc.); domestic animals and wildlife; studio and casual shots of First Nations people, Royal Canadian Mounted Police [RCMP], clergy, women, families, etc.; mining on Bullion Creek and Livingstone Creek; totem poles; a picnic at Miles Canyon sponsored by Kodak for the Whitehorse Photography Club; scenic views; social events; and miscellaneous subjects.

Eccles family fonds

The fonds consists of photographs taken by Phil and Vivien Eccles during their stay in Dawson City, Yukon. They show views of the area, residents, parades, sternwheelers, hotel rooms, the Great Fire of 1939, hikes to Moosehide and Swede Creek, Klondike City, etc. Photocopies of the original album pages are included. There are also photocopies of ephemera collected by the Eccles in their travels (92/52). The fonds also has 11 colour prints made in 1999 from colour transparencies taken in 1938 by Phil and Vivien Eccles. The images are of scenery, including Juneau, Skagway, Taku Arm and Taku Glacier, along the White Pass and Yukon Route Railway, and from the deck of the sternwheeler Klondike (2005/11).

Edmund C. Senkler fonds

The fonds consists of original photographs which had previously been mounted in E. C. Senkler's photograph album. Many of the photographs were taken by the professional Klondike photographer H. J. Goetzman. Subject matter includes groups of people in Dawson City and the surrounding area, mining scenes, North West Mounted Police (NWMP) officers, leisure activities, views of home interiors, and Dawson City street scenes. Also included are eleven Dawson City area panoramas with views of ice breaking up on the Yukon River, a Dawson City street scene, Gold Run Creek, Grand Forks, Bonanza Creek and Hunker Creek.

The fonds consists of Edward Bullen's thesis, "An Historical Study of the Education of the Indians of Teslin, Yukon Territory", 1968 and the photographs accompanying the thesis. The photographs show Teslin, its residents, churches, schools, motels, cafe, graveyard, and Freddie and George Johnston. There are also photographs of other schools in the Yukon including: Chooutla, Lower Post residential schools, F.H. Collins High School, Selkirk Elementary School, Christ the King High School, Yukon Vocational School and the residences Yukon Hall and Whitehorse Roman Catholic Hostel.

Edward Schieffelin fonds

The fonds consists of a copy of a typed manuscript written by Edward Schieffelin entitled "Edward Schieffelin's Trip to Alaska". Schieffelin writes about his decision to build a boat to travel up the Yukon River, about the winter spent in the area of Nulukayet [Nuklakayet], travel by dog team, First Nations people, other newcomers, and prospecting.

The collection consists of slides documenting Eileen Paris' trip by van from Dawson Creek, B.C. to Haines Junction, Yukon. Slides depict St. Christopher's Church in Haines Junction, St. Barnabas Church in Moosehide, St. Paul's Anglican Church in Dawson City, Paris' friends, Bert Cluett, Mrs. Pringle, Mr. Langaman (game warden), Rev. Richard Martin and family, and Mr. Leamon (old-time prospector), as well as views along the Alaska Highway and Johnson's Crossing, Whitehorse, Champagne, Haines Junction, Dalton Post, Moosehide and Dawson City.
