Included are insurance plans for the city of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, dating from 1919 to 1922. The plans also include an index to streets, public buildings, railway stations, wharves, hospitals, banks, churches, colleges, factories, hotels, and theatres. The scale of the plans are 500ft/inch and 50ft/inch.

James Pickard family fonds

The fonds consists of four letters from R. T. Holman to James Pickard re. the leasing of a piece of property in pasture lot 69, Charlottetown Royalty and three plans relating to future changes in ownership and divisions of the property which now is located at the northwest corner of University and Belvedere Avenues.

PEI Travel Bureau map collection

The collection consists of a map of Charlottetown and a road map of Prince Edward Island. Both were issued by the PEI Travel Bureau in the 1940s. The city map is a street map with a key to prominent buildings and some information re. a few landmarks. The road map contains steamer, rail and aviation information as well as information about a few tourist activities.

Prior to 1940, the Prince Edward Island Travel Bureau existed more or less as a voluntary organization financed by public subscriptions and a grant from the PEI Government. On 2 January 1940, the Travel Bureau was taken over and operated as a Department of the Provincial Government. In the 1950s the Department name was changed to the Tourist and Information Bureau and in 1960 changed to the Department of Tourist Development.

StellingKelly fonds

The fonds consists of background documents and plans which were used by consultants StellingKelly and Jacques Whitford in the process of developing an official plan for the proposed amalgamated City of Charlottetown in the mid 1990s. The textual documents include previous planning studies for the City of Charlottetown as well as the official plans and some by-laws for the surrounding communities of East Royalty, Hillsboro Park, Parkdale, Sherwood, West Royalty and Winsloe. Plans include earlier zoning maps of Charlottetown and the surrounding communities as well as a street map of Charlottetown, a map titled the "New City of Charlottetown", maps of existing (November 1996) and future land use (April 1997) and a second draft of a zoning by-law map, drawn in April 1997.
