The mandate of the Jasper- Yellowhead Museum and Archives is to collect, preserve and make available for research and exhibition documents and artifacts that serve to illustrate the human history of Jasper National Park and area and the Yellowhead corridor. The archives is the official repository for the records of the Jasper-Yellowhead Historical Society. Private papers consisting of documents, correspondence, photographs and maps are open to research. Local newspapers are available on microfilm. A library of relevant books is open for research.
