History
The Mennonite Brethren Bible Institute was formed in 1954, carrying on the programs of the Bethany Bible School. In 1960, the institute came under the administration of the B.C. Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. In 1970, it amalgamated with the Bethel Bible Institute to form the Columbia Bible Institute.
