Mickey Lammers is a long-time resident of the Yukon. She and her husband, Gunnar Nilsson (d. 2001), owned and operated Sloughmill Sawmill on the Yukon River.

The consists of a 41 page typewritten manuscript, "Wool Dyeing - The Natural Way", with handwritten notations, by Mickey Lammers. The paper explains a variety of wool-dyeing techniques she experimented with using materials available in the Yukon Territory. The paper begins with instructions and continues with detailed recipes for dyeing with a large variety of materials including coltsfoot, horsetail, yarrow, low bush cranberry, fireweed, and garden parsley and red cabbage. Also included are 65 wool samples demonstrating the various dyes used. The samples are number coded to printed explanations in the written manuscript.
