Mills Motors was owned and operated by F. Stewart Mills out of the former Farmer's Hotel / Sinclair Inn building in Annapolis Royal, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia. Mills Motors sold cars and was the local dealer for the Ford Motor Company. Mills Motors also sold Irving Oil and Gas products, Dominion tires, and tubes, ran a tax service, supplied hardwood, did work on dykes in the area, collected and sold bottles, as well as a variety of other activities.
Custodial history
Records from Mills Motors were found upstairs in the Sinclair Inn when it became the property of HRS in 1997.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of financial records for dealings with employees, customers and suppliers and correspondence in relation to government agencies, employees, customers and suppliers. Material was in complete disarray and a preliminary arrangement has been imposed.
