Scope and content
The sous-fonds consists of six series comprising novitiate registers, registers of profession, ceremonials, reports of the official visitation of St. Ann's Novitiate, a series of photographs, and miscellaneous materials. The Mistress of Novices' activities centred on the two year preparation of prospective sisters to take their temporary vows. During this time of novitiate, the novices learned prayers, rules, scriptures, the meaning of the vows, and other aspects of their vocation.
