Biographical history
The Nanaimo Ratepayers Association was formed to make the City's elected officials aware of the concerns of its tax paying citizens. Dates of formation and dissolution are unknown.
Custodial history
Material was found in the Medical Relief Committee minute book that was culled from the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital records.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of a typed circular regarding the mandate of the Association and propositions for new firehalls and a police station. Mrs. T. Murdoch is listed as Secretary. Also includes manuscript versions of the circular and another page of notes.
