Collection consists of records dating 1912-1973 and includes a report on the Canada Land and Irrigation Company Limited, which contains maps and photographs of areas in Medicine Hat, Alberta, a report entitled <em>The Lost Mine of the Saskatchewan</em>, and a brief history of Medicine Hat. Fonds also includes various photographs relating to engineering, railroads, land and irrigation, and farming.

Consists of a photograph album 5 cm thick, containing ca. 200 photographs of places and persons in Alberta and Montana. The album was compiled by A. F. Buckham from his photographs of a cattle drive, and life in and around Dorothy, Alberta and the lower Red Deer River (1921-1924), Edmonton, Alberta (1930), the later half of the album deals with A. F. Buckham's student experiences at the University of Alberta and on a mining engineering field trip to southern Alberta and Montana (1933-1935).
