Biographical history
Octave Chevigny was born in 1934 to Octave Chevigny Sr. and Dellamen Plamondon. Plamondon, her 1st husband, Albert Chevigny, and her 2nd husband, Octave Chevigny Sr. all lived in St. Albert.
Custodial history
Photographs were found in Octave Chevigny's shed after his death on 24 Mar. 2014. His daughter, Racheile Bouressa, gave them to Emilie Chevigny who in turn donated them to the Musée Héritage Museum. Emilie is Octave's brother-in-law.
Photographs are thought to have been originally owned Octave's mother, Dellamen Plamondon.
Scope and content
Fonds consist of photographs of people and various locations in downtown St. Albert.
