Biographical history

The Petroleum History Society of Calgary, Alberta decided in 2010 to revive its oral history project and focus its efforts on individuals who worked in the oil sands industry. Funds were raised from the industry and from 2011 to 2013 interviews were conducted by Robert Bott, Peter McKenzie-Brown, Brian Brennan, Dr. Adriana Davies and Gordon Jaremko. The interviews were recorded as either video or sound, and then transcriptions were done for all of them.

General note

The original digital recordings (both video and sound) live on an external hard drive purchased and given to Glenbow by the Petroleum History Society. The hard drive is in the safe in the Glenbow's IT department. It stores raw data which would have to be converted to another format for the public to access.
