The fonds consists of correspondence between the Montrose School Board (John S. Richardson secretary) and the provincial Superintendent of Education and the Provincial Board of Health. Fonds includes an annual report of pupil attendance by teacher Fanny Eleanor Kenyon, 1916; a "Copy of Proceedings" of the annual meeting of the school board, 1917; school requisition forms [1919?].

The fonds consists of administrative and financial records of the Nanooa Historical and Museum Society, including correspondence, membership records, minutes, financial statements, annual reports and receipts, along with research and reference material collected by the Society. Fonds includes the Society's photograph collection, many of the photographs are copy photoprints of vintage photographs collected by George Butler, the first president of the Society; and the Society's map and oral history collections.
