Bob Brooks fonds

Fonds consists of photographic works created by Brooks. The majority of the fonds was created for his photojournalist assignments or on spec. The fonds also consists of textual material related to Brooks' assignments and biographical material. The graphic material centers on Southwest Nova Scotia, primarily the counties of Digby and Shelburne. The fonds has been arranged in 23 series based on content or purpose of photograph.

Elden Whynot fonds

Fonds consists of negatives created by Whynot in his career as a commercial photographer in Shelburne and some from his work as a civilian photographer for HMCS Shelburne. Commercial photographs included mostly studio work and local weddings. Also included are some local events, groups and school photographs. Some prints are available.

George H. Craig fonds

Many of the images are of scenery around Nova Scotia, but there are also images showing pages out of books, or of prints or paintings already in existence. The geographic area represented by the images is for the most part Halifax and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. There are also a number of images that depict the black community of Dartmouth in the 1890's. Craig also experimented occasionally, scratching negatives or painting them with varnish to create various effects. For his painting, Craig created images to be used as resources for his artwork, but also created negatives of his artwork. The glass plate negatives were arranged by Craig in series that reflect these painting projects. Fonds consists of six series: negatives, portraits, Nova Scotia celebration, Views in Nova Scotia, Old Governors, and Subjects for paintings

Georgia H. Cunningham fonds

Fonds consists of glass plate negatives produced by Cunningham in her Bridgetown studio. The images consist mainly of portraits of residents but also scenes of everyday life, Bridgetown and surrounding area. The majority of the images have been identified.
