Scope and content
Series consists of photographs documenting the university life, call to the Bar, and personal life of Thelma Thomson. The original photographs range in date from 1942 to 1974. The majority of the photographs relate to her life while attending the University of Toronto during, and shortly after, the Second World War. A number of these photos depict several visible minority students from the Carribbean who were attending the University of Toronto at the same time. Other photographs in the series depict her call to the Bar in September of 1949, and group photographs with her sons and husband, Judge David Thomson.
