Ce plan présente la propriété du juge James Smith. Cette propriété est située sur la rue Sherbrooke le long de la rue Upper Peel (devenue Peel). Ce sont les lots n° 1765 à 1777 du cadastre du quartier Saint-Antoine de la cité de Montréal et une partie du parc du Mont-Royal jusqu'au cimetière Mount Royal. Il y a sur le lot une résidence avec ses dépendances, une partie du monument Hugh Allen au bout de la rue Upper Peel. La maison Simon-McTavish, les réservoirs McTavish et quelques édifices sur les terrains de l'Université McGill sont localisés sur le plan. Outre ceux déjà cités, les noms des principaux propriétaires voisins sont John Redpath, Hugh Taylor, H. B. Smith, John Torrance, J. H. Springle, D. L. McDougall et William Workman
