The fonds consists of Fred Matthews Young's working files for his legislative responsibilities. The largest part of the fonds contains files related to transportation and especially highway traffic, which reflects Young's role on the Select Committee on Highway Traffic. The files are divided into subjects related to transportation (safety, lighting, re-sale of automobiles, automobile prices, alternatives to the automobile), and include reports of government agencies, briefs to the Select Committee and other committees, copies of bills, copies of Hansard (Ontario), advertisements, press releases and background material. In addition, there is material on several other issues before the Legislative Assembly including smoking, housing (including public housing), election expenses, reformatories, municipal affairs, and material relating to the Revenue Ministry, including material on land transfer taxes, provincial income taxes, the government estimates, securities law, the Corporations Act and related subjects. This material includes reports, submissions, statements of ministers and members, copies of speeches, Hansard, copies of bills and amendments and related material.

The fonds consists of correspondence (1940-1984), articles and addresses by Soward (1926-1969), book reviews (1950-1965), collected articles and book reviews by others, and a collection of newspaper and magazine clippings. Also included are copies of a weekly column entitled "The Way of the World" that Soward wrote for the Vancouver Morning Star (1927-1929).

This fonds consists of a letterbook (1882-1892) containing copies of letters written by George Hibbard on business matters and constituency affairs, particularly roads. A considerable number of letters relate to the Lake George Antimony Company, located in York County, of which he was secretary-treasurer. Included also is his discharge from the militia, dated 1872.

Fonds consists of documents related to George H. Connell's activities as a land owner and merchant. There are correspondence, deeds, financial information, and descriptions of property. Correspondence includes letters from customers, family relatives, and political associates in Ottawa, and telegrams. Deeds contain the date, description of property, amount, and names of those involved in the transaction. Financial documents include two cash books, a ledger, and insurance renewal for George H. Connell and Charles Connell. Descriptions of property name the location, acreage, and names of owners.

The fonds consists of records relating to the National Committee for the New Party (1960-1961), which was established to found a new social democratic part in Canada, and Home's records relating to the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC). Fonds includes minutes, reports and texts of speeches given by George Home, clippings, correspondence, policy statements, articles by T.C. Douglas, text of speech by Ed Broadbent, subject files on the Canadian political system and photographs of delegates at labour conventions.

This document is a deed of conveyance, dated 1862, from George and Mary Moffat to the Crown of lots 181 and 182 located in the town of Dalhousie, N. B. The Moffats acquired title to this property in 1858.

This is a collection of official appointments received by George Skeffington Grimmer, 1847 - 1973. They include the authority to perform legal functions such as receiver of bail or notary public, as well as appointment as Clerk of various New Brunswick Courts. Arrangement is chronological.

Fonds consists of Endicott's Waffle records and includes such items as correspondence pertaining to, and seeking support for, the position paper "For and Independent Socialist Canada," a chronological survey of documents dealing with the Waffle and public reaction as created by the Canadian Labour Congress, documents leading to the Waffle Manifesto, financial documents, supporting material, news clippings, resolutions, and so on.
