Port Hardy Museum and Archives
The Port Hardy Museum and Archives was established in 1982 and is administered by the Port Hardy Heritage Society. Its holdings include museum artifacts, archival records, and historical reference material relating to Port Hardy and area.
The Archives holds materials relating to local history in the Central Coast and Mount Waddington Regional Districts. The holdings include records of various community organizations, a large photographic fonds of the North Island Gazette newspaper, other historical photographs of the region, and reference material, including locally-relevant books, newspapers, and periodicals.
