The Port Hope and District Agricultural Society has its origins in the Durham Agricultural Society established in 1831.
Custodial history
Donated to the Port Hope Archives by past president of the Agricultural Society. The 1926-1965 books were collected by E.J. Symons; 1988-1994 were collected by Douglas Wright.
