Biographical history
Prince Rupert hosted the Northern Winter Games from February 4 to February 7, 1999. A committee of volunteers from Prince Rupert coordinated the games led by president Linda Lutz and vice-president Barb Gruber.
Custodial history
The records created by the organizing committee were donated to the Archives on August 4, 1999 by the City of Prince Rupert on request by the Prince Rupert 1999 Northern Games organizing committee.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of records from the Prince Rupert 1999 Northern Games. It includes final committee reports, contents of a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings and ephemera, correspondence, minutes, a souvenir program and directory with photographs of organizing committee meetings, and a souvenir program of participants and volunteers at the games.
