Biographical history
The Prince Rupert Book club was a women's club established ca. 1926 by Mrs. J.C. Brady, wife of a former school principal, to stimulate the study of literature. Charter members included several teachers.
Custodial history
The records were donated to the archives by club member Heather McLean in 1990 and 2008.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of constitution and bylaws, minutes, membership lists, correspondence, programs, financial records, and reference material of the Prince Rupert Book Club from 1930- 2001.
