Name of creator
Recovery House was a facility for the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction housed in St. Augustine's Monastery, Antigonish County. The rehabilitation centre served Antigonish, Guysborough, Richmond, Inverness, Colchester, and Cumberland counties. A volunteer executive and Board of Directors relied on publish contributions. Its history is one of continual struggle for public funding to meet increased demands on the facility to expand its services.
Scrapbook was donated to the Antigonish Heritage Museum.
