The postcards were purchased in a Vancouver shop by Muriel Olson. She gave them to her sister-in-law, Joan Cope of Calgary.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of postcards from Watt, Nellie and Ann to their families in Scotland. Includes Joan Cope's transcriptions of the messages on the postcards, and commentary about the relationships of the people mentioned. The postcards from Calgary feature Braemar Lodge, St. George's Bridge, Holy Cross Hospital, and the view from Crescent Heights.
